Recover access when two-factor authentication fails

Rejected verification codes, a lost phone, or an authenticator you can no longer open.

The code is rejected

  1. Open the authenticator entry for your Codefling account.
  2. Wait for a new code and enter it before it changes. A code already used successfully cannot be used again.
  3. Set your phone’s date and time to automatic, then try a fresh code.

You cannot use the authenticator

Choose or verify using another method on the verification screen and follow one of the recovery methods shown. For email recovery, check the inbox and spam folder for the account’s email address.

If you cannot complete a recovery method, use account-access support. Include your account name and an email address you can receive messages at. Do not send passwords, setup keys, or verification codes.

A password reset does not remove two-factor authentication. If the screen gives a retry time, wait until that time before trying again.
