Move around a 3D preview

Keyboard and mouse controls for exploring maps and prefabs.

Movement

  • W A S D + mouse: move and look.
  • Shift: sprint. Ctrl: crouch. Space: jump.
  • E: use supported doors and ladders.
  • N: toggle noclip. While flying, use E / Q to move up or down and the mouse wheel to change speed.

Map and display

  • Hold G to open the map. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, or click a location to travel.
  • F: toggle fullscreen.
  • Esc: open the menu for settings, controls, and exiting the preview.

Adjust the view

Settings include time of day, graphics quality, field of view, and mouse sensitivity. The Performance preset reduces rendering cost. The Markers option controls automatic entity markers; creator points of interest remain visible.
