Not sure if that's a joke or not, though assuming its not, I guess to each his own lol just kinda seems, uh, extreme. Though I guess he can do whatever he wants considering theres not many of these plugins being sold.

If you want to be humbled, make a optimized build server with 300 zones, which can handle 150 players without lag. It's not as easy as it seems. So many gotchas along the way. While your at it, make symmetry plugin.

I never really said it was easy just feel the price is exorbitant, and do you even know if this one can do that? lol

That's why I covered that base with "if it's done right.".

I'd charge minimum of $1000 for mine.

But if they are using vanilla zone domes or even vanilla zone manager. Then this won't handle that at all.

I mean, I think regardless I'm always going to think anything over 100$ for 1 thing is kinda crazy.

i typed claim and got this error

It has placed a dome around the spot - just letting u know about error

I have no other plugins installed except this one and perms manager

Plugin seems to work fine but i cannot get bskin to work at all  - /bskin 1 1 does nothing

Need a way so if i want to build in HQM i can without doing by way of twig then upgrading to HQm

Thanks for the information, i will push an update right now fixing problems with claiming, building and other things.
i'll be looking further to see the last error you got with the HQM so i can fix that. Thanks

ryuk i figured out how t build in stone and hmq - its just have a planner and then right click with mouse on the icons left side of screen 

that bit works now - was just me not knowing it at the time

If I had a build server, I would buy it for sure. Of course, the plugin could be better, but the price is affordable and reasonable. I wonder why everyone expects these plugins to be expensive if released. Why do only specific brands have to host their minigames, build, or whatever unique server you can think of? Everyone should be able to make one. Thanks to this dev for creating something for the community instead of for himself like others always do.

By the way, Is the building paste instant, or is it paste entity by entity, wall by wall? I'm not sure how some servers do it 'lag-free' but it pastes the whole base instantly, and that's way better.

Since I subscribed to updates. I've been getting all emails about the updates. Which have told me, this plugin was released before it was done or tested, it has so many bugs, im curious why were releasing something like this without it being used in production and all the possible edge cases and bugs solved?

 

Before a smug reply comes, let it be known, it's quite possible to build a plugin and actually test it before releasing it to the public for money.

To prevent server lagging while pasting / loading the base, each entity/structure will spawn one by one waiting X time between every entity, as default there's 0.5 seconds between entity spawns to prevent lag

i've tested 2 types, the 1st one was instant spawn and it lags the server entirely


btw i think the price could be expensive since there's not another plugin in the market, It's like a privilege to have a server like this these days i think
as example some servers have an complete plugin including symmetry and other things without bugs.

Instantly is pretty poor for performance actually. Lmk how many players you achieve doing it that way.

At the time I uploaded it it did not have any errors, after the latest rust update several errors arose that were not there before.

Several problems were with the saving and loading of bases, also the system of inviting friends and an exploit that was reported that allowed other users to damage other buildings.

Currently this is all fixed and I am still actively checking that there are no more problems in addition to constantly updating the plugin.

the plugin was fully tested by me and one of my friends before publishing it.
There was a lot of bugs before publishing it so it took like 2 weeks to fully fix and publish it to production.

Right now if someone sent an error log or report a bug/exploit, immediately tried to replicate the bug and tried to fix it

honestly for the price tag the GTFO mode is worth it just on its own

You can use zone manager for something like that on your own, use whitelist, kick non whitelisted is an option.

can we have a stabilty on/off option on the middle mouse button Menu screen please.

 

found a major issue - it just shut my rust game down 

 

I made a base and then saved it 

I cleared all base using the command and then pasted it back

Some of the base goes out of the zone when pasting back and when i went to the edge of my zone my game froze then shut down

Server did not crash though

Hi @TomHud have been you updated the plugin to the latest release?

The base should spawn in the center of the area, unless you build a large base that goes out bounds of the claimed area, if the base is too big, you can change the radius of the area in the config file to a bigger value.

i've tried to replicate your issue but there was not luck at all (tested with 2accounts in 2 different computers).


the only crash i got was Steam auth timeout kick, while being afk.
I will continue looking into this further, but there is nothing to solve yet.

this is a bit off topic for this plugin but here goes

I made a build server with help from Steemaroo and one of the issues i had was some players wanted to pvp their friends so we set up a god mode on/off and we could never get it to work unless the player logged out then back in and players dont really want to be doing this

Do you know how to allow this in creative build mode if players want to fight their friends they are able to - even outside the dome area ?

Once i have built a test base i then save the base using /save 1

Now i clear everything and i try to go back to the center of the dome and i do /load 1

My base does not load back exactly where i had made it and if i have GTFO mode on some of it is outside the dome so i am unable to access it unless i turn GTFO off which defeats the object of having a GTFO mode on

Once pasted back if i try to clear all the base using the menu it will only clear what is inside the zone - not the pieces that are outside the zone.

There's 2 copy/paste system, both will paste the base back in the middle on the  claimed zone, is not needed to clear the zone before because while you load the base it will clear automatically.

Talking about the problem with clearing the base and some part outside the zone will stay even clearing the area, i've fixed it and will push an update today.

since i tested it, i found the problems and i'll try to fix it
