I would like to purchase this but the Map is missing my players favorite Monument Airfield. Would it be possible to have a version that includes Airfield Monument and a combined Outpost/Bandit Camp? This change should allow it to be fit easy in one of the Bandit/outpost spots once combined. Thanks mate for your considerations ❤️

I appreciate the suggestion and, while an update path to include airfield and arctic research is possible, replacing bandit with airfield would break the symmetry that creates the gameplay players are so attracted to. 

However, this type of simple edit is exactly the type of thing I encourage admins to take on themselves. The addition of airfield would be a bit more challenging, but making outpost into combined outpost takes like 2 minutes. We noticed on our vanilla server that crates/barrels/etc are not spawning? Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: Looks like a one-off bug on my end, wiped the test server and rebooted and everything is just fine. Beautiful map!

I'm not sure what you mean? I have the map loaded up on my servers right now and the loot is spawning normally. Be careful when re-naming the map or sav file. Using an sav file from a prior map can cause entities not to spawn correctly. If that's not the issue, try checking your plugins and convars to make sure they are not causing the issue. If that doesn't work then it's possible your server files have been coincidentally corrupted.

Isle of Rust uses only autospawn prefabs and vanilla monuments, so it doesn't require any mods as dependencies, and loot spawners are handled by vanilla server code. Loot spawners are built into the vanilla monument prefabs, the map file just tells the server where to put the monument in the game. The server then keeps track of and manages loot spawning.

Digging the new map, looks good ... I picked it up earlier today for wipe. So far positive reviews from the players. But there is one common complaint... and maybe something to consider for future version updates... maybe leave few of those dried up creeks / streams with active fresh water so there is more pumpkins and corn. Some players like to build close to renewable food sources and this map lacks that ... unless building up around S9/S10, that's the only place I've really seen any sort of renewable pumpkin and corn food sources. But aside from that, so far so good man.


Another request as well, I enjoyed playing Synecdoche one of your other maps. Why is it not here on Codefling, can you bring it here???

Yeah I agree I love the Map but it is in desperate need for Rivers! As this is super important in Vanilla Servers. With some Rivers this map would be EPIC!

If you end up doing a revision at some point... players have asked for more places to build larger bases... like 5 - 10 man clan type bases. IE. shallow water that extends out a bit further in more places around the map would probably do it, maybe an larger ice lake somewhere. Right now seems to be catering to small - medium size bases only so really limits this map IMO to Official, Vanilla or 2-3x servers. Anything higher than a 3x where players tend to utilize those extra resources for larger builds, this map doesn't really accommodate. Just a thought .. some feedback. Otherwise everyone loving it. 🙂
