This is a free updated map based directly on the classic Facepunch Hapis Island map that was used on official servers in 2019-2021. It features older versions of monuments you know, and Hapis exclusive monuments from the early days of Rust, post-legacy.

This is not only a nostalgic map for folks who've been playing Rust over the last decade, but also a cool piece of Rust history and custom map newer rust players can experience. This map is well-optimized and should be able to run on small or large servers. I currently run this map 16GB of ram with little issue on Pine, so even smaller communities should be able to enjoy this map.

You can run this map with either the Harmony mods provided via the Hapis Community discord, or with oxide and the RustEdit .dll, with no issues. You do need to use either set of plugins for IO, Puzzles, NPCs and other map functionality to work, but none of this is game-changing, or game-breaking. I run this map on my server in the community tab and have never had issues; it is based on facepunch's official version that also used plugins after all.

Bunny and team are the realest of the real as it pertains to Hapis. The team killed the OG 2018 Hapis, and this one even more so ! The map is PERFECT replica of the FP original between 2019 - 2021 before the huge changes they made in 2022 and then they stopped working on it all together. Bunny, Nox and team picked up the work and ran with it.. I played Hapis over 3k of my 10k hours, and knowing how to make maps myself, there is not a better Hapis map out there. I give it an 11 of 10 stars. This is the real real.  I love this version of this map and its the best available Hapis on the whole internet now.
