I submit my mod 5 dash ago and still got "This file is awaiting curator review for safety and integrity.".
How much days in general take such checks?

I am waiting as fast as I can. Maybe I need to wait faster xD. Been waiting over 2 weeks now. Can an Admin address this please?

If a plugin is going that long without being reviewed chances are it was flagged for being majority AI. Our team that reviews AI content is small and has a massive work load since a lot of submissions now of days are AI junk.

Mine has been pending for a week, but after two days of being live, a curator downloaded it, but there's no news. And yes, I use AI a little, because I'm learning code with it. Isn't that allowed?

Well in my experience, when someone says "used AI a little bit" that usually means the entire thing is AI. Our team will determine this during their review. But no, we do not allow submissions that are mostly AI generated as per our upload guidelines. https://codefling.com/upload-guidelines/#originality

Using AI is like cheating in Rust..... if you are going to code, learn to code. Don't take the easy way out that ruins your credibility and reputation.

Alright, I wasn’t aware that it was against the rules, that’s my bad. I sometimes use AI to help structure things or understand how to approach certain parts, but I try to build and learn the rest myself. It's more of a learning tool for me than anything else.

I understand that opinions on AI can vary, especially from devs who learned and worked hard before these tools existed. It’s true that seeing AI do something in minutes that took you days to master can be frustrating. But I really believe it’s just a tool like many others we've adopted over time and it won’t ever replace real developers.

I fully respect your rules and the effort behind maintaining quality on your platform. I’ll make sure anything I submit aligns with your originality policy.

Hopefully, over time, more developers will see AI for what it really is a tool to support creativity and productivity, not a replacement for real skill or experience.

If AI is cheating, I guess you’re coding everything in binary by hand, right?

Using AI is not going to teach you the rudimentary skills of coding. My previous statement was not directed at you; it was geared to encourage anyone to learn the coding instead of relying on a new technology. The new tech is great, but if you don't learn the basics, how can you say YOU are a coder?

Defensive extremism is not the route to take. I am still learning to code myself and no I do not code by writing it in binary.... ridiculous statement received as passive aggressive. Maybe that wasn't your intent. Good luck in the world of coding though, luckily now there's plenty of info bouncing around to assist you on your journey.

Just to clarify my message wasn’t passive-aggressive at all. It was meant to be lighthearted, a touch of humor in response to what you said. More like saying, “The world is changing, and we need to change with it.” Sorry if it came across the wrong way.

Regarding AI, I totally get your point. But I don’t just type “code this” and copy-paste blindly. I spend a lot of time crafting relevant prompts, understanding how things work, and experimenting. Before jumping into coding, I focused on agent workflows and AI logic, that’s where I have more experience. That background helped me learn things on my own terms.

That said, I’m not claiming to be a developer or anything. I do this mainly for my own Rust servers. I share the plugins I’ve made in case others find them useful. If they don’t, that’s totally fine too.

And of course, if this platform isn’t the right place to share that kind of work, I completely understand. I’ll find a more suitable space to share it. No hard feelings at all.

Have a nice day

@vMax Just out of curiosity, are you using AI responses here?

Uh, what am I supposed to say to that? Well no 😂

No shame, but it's really hard to have a discussion about the overuse of AI when you're using AI to generate your responses. It's a real highlight of how we use AI as a replacement instead of a productivity tool. In any case, our team will review your submission as soon as possible (If they haven't already.) Assuming it's not mostly (or entirely) AI-generated you should be fine.

I have no shame, no I don't use AI to make my answers, and yes I use Google Translate so as not to make mistakes and so that I can be understood to respond seriously to important messages, because I am not English, the main thing is to make myself understood

Okay, thanks for your reply, Death ❤️

Not to call you out but that's not google translate. The punctuation and grammar is 100% AI. If I were to guess it would be ChatGPT. I use it often for documentation so I know how it fumbles on punctuation. 😛
