Codefling+ Warranty Terms

By purchasing files on Codefling.com with an active Codefling+ subscription, users agree to the following warranty terms. The Codefling+ warranty provides additional protections in specific scenarios as detailed below. 

Two-Year Warranty Coverage

Files purchased with an active Codefling+ subscription are eligible for a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty includes support, maintenance, and updates for eligible files during the warranty period, provided the file remains actively supported by its author or an assigned maintainer.

If a Codefling+ subscription expires, any files purchased while the subscription was active will continue to be covered by the two-year warranty from their respective purchase dates. Files purchased without an active Codefling+ subscription are not eligible for warranty protection.

Scope and Limitations of Warranty

The warranty applies to updates, bug fixes, and other efforts to maintain the file’s functionality for two years from the purchase date. If the original author discontinues support or abandons the file within the warranty period, Codefling will attempt to provide support or assign a new maintainer to keep the file functional.

The warranty does not cover:

• Issues caused by modifications made by the customer or third parties not affiliated with Codefling.
• External factors, such as changes in the platform or third-party software, affecting the file’s functionality.
• Misuse, unauthorized distribution, or unauthorized resale of the file.
• Customizations, alterations, or adaptations outside of standard support and maintenance as provided by Codefling or the file’s author.

Abandonment and Discontinuation

If the file’s author goes missing, discontinues support, or abandons the file, Codefling will make reasonable efforts to provide support or find a qualified maintainer. If Codefling cannot support or maintain the file, a refund may be issued under specific conditions, as outlined in the refund process.

Refund Process for Abandoned or Discontinued Files

To request a refund due to file abandonment or discontinuation, customers must:

• Report the file as potentially abandoned or discontinued via the support channels available at https://codefling.com/help.
• Provide evidence or an explanation of why the file is considered abandoned, including any functional issues experienced.

Evaluation and Approval of Refund Requests

Each refund request will be evaluated individually. Codefling retains the sole discretion to determine whether a refund is warranted. Codefling’s assessment will consider all relevant factors, including the viability of continued support and any available alternatives.

Limitations on Refund Amounts

Refunds, when issued, are limited to the original purchase price of the file and do not include any additional fees, taxes, or charges incurred at the time of purchase. Refunds will only be issued if no viable solution exists to maintain or repair the file’s functionality.

Protection Against Abuse and Fraud

Codefling reserves the right to deny a refund if there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or attempts to exploit the Codefling+ warranty system. This includes, but is not limited to, cases where multiple individuals appear to be coordinating to manipulate or defraud Codefling or its creators.

Codefling has the right to reject refund requests that appear to be part of a scheme involving collaboration between customers and creators, or between multiple customers, intended to exploit the warranty system. Codefling will take all necessary steps to ensure the integrity of the Codefling+ warranty.

Warranty Indicator

Files covered under the Codefling+ warranty will have an indicator visible in the customer’s purchase history at https://codefling.com/purchases, allowing customers to easily identify which files are under warranty.

The warranty for each file remains valid for two years from the date of purchase, regardless of the status of the Codefling+ subscription at the time of expiration, provided the subscription was active when the file was purchased.

Modifications to Warranty Terms

Codefling reserves the right to modify these Codefling+ Warranty Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting. By purchasing files with a Codefling+ subscription, customers agree to be bound by the most current version of these terms.
