Dynamic Monuments – Critical SV_RequestFile Issue

Following the November 5, 2026 Rust forced wipe, Dynamic Monuments appears to cause a critical issue on our server.

When players enter a particular location, they are immediately disconnected with:

RPC Error in SV_RequestFile

The server console reports:

AssertionException: FileStorage cache contains a null file

This is reproducible with multiple players, including admins. Players who spawn inside the affected location are disconnected immediately and cannot reconnect successfully.

Confirmed test: Disabling Dynamic Monuments completely resolves the problem. The affected area becomes accessible again.

Could you investigate whether a spawned monument entity or FileStorage reference is causing this and advise on a fix?

This is a serious issue because affected locations become inaccessible to players.

The issue was located in the jungle segment of the game around a dynamic monument.

Hope this helps.

I experienced the same error with 1.4.5, but I have only been able to reproduce it when entering one of the Rusted Gates monuments - there were 3 spawned on the map and only 1 seemed to trigger this. When entering other monuments it seemed to function normally.
