Currently the only way to add a picture to a Custom Item you make in the plugin is by Skin ID. It would be also be cool if there was a way to use a URL instead to use for a Skin. Not sure if that's possible as I only want to use it for the Icon's of the Items. I know clothing and stuff like that you actually need a SkinID as far as I'm aware.

Unfortunately this is not possible. The only way Rust allows you to change the icon of an item is by using a skin.
