Double Daily Reward

When players take their daily reward (after 1 hour of playing), the countdown timer for the next days shows as 1 hour but does not tick down.

However, if they log out and reconnect to the server, that counter starts ticking down. After they take the second reward, the counter does not appear again until the next day. This means they get two days worth of rewards in a 24 hour period. 

My server restarts daily, but I'm uncertain if that has something to do with it. 

I can confirm this is caused by server restarts. Without a restart, the plugin works as expected.

Is there something in the config that can adress this or is there any way to make the plugin take server restarts into consideration?
