Patrolling NPC?

Is there a way to have an NPC use this function and have them patrol about like in better pc with waypoints?

you mean walk around?   of do you mean shoot at people?

I mean to patrol about, like walk around outpost.

I'm also looking for a way to have them spawn on a timer if that's a thing?
