Issues with parachute.bypassrepack convar

My player base loves your plugin, but, I recently switched the parachute.bypassrepack to True as my player base decided they were fed up of the time lag of repacking normal parachutes and the process of having to find them and pick them up again, this has caused an unusual effect with this plugin, when a player presses space to drop out of their parachute before they hit the ground the parachute closes as expected then immediately reopens again.

Could this be investigated and a work around put in place that stops this from happening, or if there is already a configuration that does this could you advise what it is please.
