Mods Toggling In and Out Lose Oxide Group Permissions

Greetings,

For users that are not Admins (Mods / Staff) each time they use /tmod to toggle into the Moderation group, and then back out, and then attempt to go back in again, they lose their Moderation permissions (they are removed from the Oxide group entirely.) Here's my Console logs:

I'm not sure I understand the issue here.

This is only intended to be used by Admin/mod (Auth 1 /auth 2 users).

Also make sure you are following the instruction in the description.

Appreciate the quick reply - I think my issue is I did not add the actual "Mod" via the "moderatorid <steam64id>" command. I just had dumped them into an Oxide group I created called "Mod."

I'll have them test now that they have auth level 2 access now and retry.

Also as the big note says in the description, don’t grant the perm to an oxide group, it won’t work, you need to grant it per player

 

also i don’t recommend granting anyone auth 2 (admin) if you want mods that is auth 1,

auth 2 grants them owner of the server and all that entails.
