updating plugin now clears datafile

Closed 2.1.5 2.1.6

What version did you upgrade from?
Do you use files or a database to store statistics?

I have not received any such complaints from other users of the plugin.

The file can't clean itself. (Something helped him do it)

If your data contains more than a couple of hundred players, use SQLite for data storage - it is much more productive and optimized.

I had the same issue. I updated the plugin for my last wipe and it cleared all my stats. I thought I forgot to change a setting in the config, but I double checked everything.

I don't have any guesses. I didn't add/modify anything in the update that would delete the data.

Data stor - files or database?

I think should disable data storage in files (or make SQLite the default instead). ( I've noticed that there are problems if a lot of data is stored in a file )
Use SQLite (local database - no query latency) or MySQL.

My file reset again on server wipe yesterday. Not sure what is happening, but I am not deleting any files or anything.

Checked the configuration, it's fine.
But I have no idea why the data is being reset.

I will test the wipe with your configuration.

I think I found the reason for that. It happens when the server is shut down incorrectly.
I will do a plugin update before the game update is released. And that should fix the problem.
