Hello, first of all, the CopNet plugin offers everything the old police system has exept the /callpolice function which im currently working on for the CopNet since i want to make it better then in the police system. Secondly, no there is no timeframe for the next version. I am working on the case file system time to time but since i do this in my free time and have to work 8 hours a day full time in my job i cant get this released somewhere soon. I try my best to make it as fast a possible but i cant say if its going to be live next week or in 2 month because i dont know how much time i can spend in the next few weeks working on this projetct. So im sorry if this all takes to long for you but this is the reality. Since you havent purchased the plugin yet you dont have to worry about anything so just wait a little longer and i might be able to release a big update (which im working on) in the near future.

there is a config setting saying "turn_of_UI_by_default = true" it is set to true by default. just set it to false and everyone sees if police is online or not -

top left of the screen everyone has a ui to see if police is online or not -
Hey sorry to hear that but a refund would be not possible in that case. Only if the plugin would be broken and not working at all. The description as a video showcasing all the features the plugin has. If you looked it up carefully you would have known before if you like it and need to buy it or not if you did watch the video and still bought it I’m sorry. The old police system will not be further extended just bug fixing. CopNet on the other hand will so if you have any suggestions to this plugin so that you might like it more or that it fits your specific use case just leave a request here and I will implement this asap. This plugin is a fresh restart from the old system and will improve over time and feedback

CopNet is a newly developed version of my long-ago released plugin, Police. This plugin introduces an in-game computer system for police officers, enabling them to manage all typical police tasks, much like a real computer. With this system, players can go on duty and log off duty, track the last 10 duty registrations, and see which officers are on duty along with their respective ranks. Additionally, the next version will include a case file system, allowing users to create, write, and organize fully structured case files. A printing feature will also be added, enabling case files to be saved as in-game notes. The corresponding icon is already integrated into the system to give a preview of what's coming next. CopNet includes the Police system, making it unnecessary to have the Police plugin on the server, as CopNet fully replaces it. If CopNet is installed on the server, the Police plugin, along with its config, data, and lang files, must be deleted. As in the Police plugin, there is a "dutygroup" that players are added to when they go on duty. This group is removed when they log off duty. Furthermore, just like in the old system, there is a salary system. Based on the rank and configuration settings, salaries are calculated and paid to players. For more information and a detailed introduction, check out the video that explains all the features. Whats new: [ADDED] - the option to access the CopNet UI with the targeting computer in the active hand slot. The player gets the usergroup "dutygroup" automatically if the player goes on duty with /pd it is integrated in the plugin. What you can do is take this group "dutygroup" which comes with the plugin and put all your permissions you want the police to have to that group "dutygroup". Once the player then interacts with the TalkingNPC and triggers the /pd the dutygroup will be assignt and the player has all the permissions from that group. Once the player triggers /pde thought the NPC the "dutygroup" gets automatically removed from the player so he i does not longer have the permissions from that group while of duty. I implemented this feature a while ago. If you read the description from the plugin carefully you can see that. So i would recommend using my inbuild group which the player gets once on duty

if you have Rustadmin which you should as a server owner then you can see the steamID in the player list section. Right click the player in the list and select steamID64 then paste it in the command section of your Rustadmin console like so Police.pd 13215432164321635 <-- the number here should be the real steamID of the player

Hey yes they have to name thair phones and then the plugin registeres them and will display them in the list. If a phone has no name they get filtered and will not be shown. This is because rust has some issues with the phones some of them if they are in a box or get lost on the ground after restart the phone still exists but the name will be reset to null so the plugin would eventually have a large list of unnamed phones which is a pain so in order to avoid that i have set a filter for phones without a name.
