  1. NPC Health Bar v1.0.11 loads successfully on my Carbon-powered Rust production and Staging servers, and /npcbar opens correctly. However, before applying a local compatibility patch, health bars did not appear when attacking several live NPCs I tested. For a boar, diagnostic logging showed: Attack hook: boar | type=Rust.Ai.Gen2.Boar Damage hook: boar | type=Rust.Ai.Gen2.Boar permission=True; validTarget=True; recognizedNpc=False The supplied IsNpcEntity method accepts NPC BasePlayer instances and legacy BaseNpc entities, but rejects this Rust.Ai.Gen2.Boar, preventing the health bar from rendering. Please review compatibility with current Gen2 animals and scientists. Other NPCs showed the same symptom, but I haven’t captured their runtime types to establish whether the cause is identical. Separately, enabling “Require permission?” in-game leaves npchealthbar.use unregistered until the plugin is reloaded. The source registers this permission conditionally during startup; registering it unconditionally would avoid this problem. Could you investigate these issues and confirm support for current Rust and Carbon builds? I can provide the diagnostic logs and exact server versions if helpful. Examples that are missing: GroupMissing entries New scientistsscientist2, scientist2.heavy, scientist2.shotgun Animalswolf2, stag, chicken, tiger, panther, crocodile Livestockcow, sheep Small animalscrabs, squirrel, frog, rabbit Aquatic animalsseaturtle, jellyfish, simpleshark
