personally i use Plugin called Broken Items Cleaner from Rust Workshop

 

This was my server at one point 407k entities ...... i ran the cleaner and 320127 was removed

 

i used to have a high entity count due to Loottable & Stacksize GUI every time it refreshed the loot it wouldnt properly clear the previous loot entities properly

If your talking about a memory leak causing server crash? I have the same issue on updates and would be interested in what plugins you have. Im hosted on Host Havoc and this is how i fix the leak. I have a section of nonworkshop mods... in there i uninstall and reinstall RustIO and Rustedit. Then i go to filemanager and delete the steamapps folder. then i go to my tab update server files and hit GO. This reinstalls my steamfolder and updates my umod. This fixes my issue every time. hope this helps. please send me a list of your mods so maybe we can figure out which one may do this.

Interesting, I'll look into that. Don't personally use Loottable & Stacksize GUI but I can imagine something similar with what I am using currently.

This plugin saved my life holy shit. went from 230k to 80k in an instant.
