429 appears to be rate-limitation for a given IP. Have you used this plug-in successfully before experiencing this error? If so, it might just be throttling from Imgur.

Yes, that is not a lot of images for throttling to be triggered(I've never experienced the error myself across two dozen or so at the least) for me - I've uploaded many more. As it has uploaded successfully at all I would think this is more a quirk of the Imgur API - give it a bit.
