player throws the supply drop for Heli Signals.. is left waiting for a heli that never arrives

I have no errors to share sorry.. the signal is sent, nothing arrives

If its not appearing there must be an error, maybe a NullReferenceException message? Does the signal smoke or just roll on the floor ?

the smoke signal smokes until the timer runs out.. just no heli arrives

 

I'll throw another and check server logs

I promise you, nothing in console or log.

found the issue

Earlier console was spammed and crashed the server, error below;

Infinity or NaN floating point numbers appear when calculating the transform matrix for a Collider. Scene hierarchy path "assets/prefabs/npc/patrol helicopter/patrolhelicopter.prefab/RotorPivot/patrol_helicopter" Infinity or NaN floating point numbers appear when calculating the transform matrix for a Collider. Scene hierarchy path "assets/prefabs/npc/patrol helicopter/patrolhelicopter.prefab/RotorPivot/patrol_helicopter/tail_rotor_col" Infinity or NaN floating point numbers appear when calculating the transform matrix for a Collider. Scene hierarchy path "assets/prefabs/npc/patrol helicopter/patrolhelicopter.prefab/RotorPivot/patrol_helicopter/main_rotor_col" Infinity or NaN floating point numbers appear when calculating the transform matrix for a Collider. it was suggested that I set heli.lifetimeminutes: "0" until the rust/oxide problem could be fixed.

"Map Scale Distance Away to Spawn Helicopter (Default: 1.25 = 1.25 x Map Size Distance)": 0.0,

Set this to 0.0 lie this, then throw and see if it spawns directly above

Solved, heli.lifetimeminutes ConVar was set to 0, so heli was immediately retiring.
