base not deploying

i can summon a prefab PD base to my inventory and it is labeled as a pocket dimension base but when i place it the chest is not skinned and the chest just opens like a normal chest

That sounds very vague! Are you talking about SkinBox? Vanilla chests work just fine. Are the chests you put the PD items inside from a plugin? If so, does the plugins serialize item.text? Hit me up on Discord so we can see what's up

i gift myself one of the vip boxes. and when i look at it in my inventory it's labeled but not skinned and when i place the box and hit E it just opens as a box instead of deploying.

now if i were to craft one then it will properly deploy. but when i use the pd.giftbox command it just gives me a blank chest that has the correct name but doesn't function as a pocket dimension

Oh I see! It might be an issue with your Pocket DImensions config related to CopyPaste - or a conflicting plugin. I have a few ways to test and remedy this, so please hit me up on Discord, as this is the best place to communicate as far as tech support goes.
