so i cant place anything on the tugboats looked in permissions and config but i cant get it to work sorry.

You need to set the base item to be something that can be deployed on a tugboat. The default item's (telephone and tesla coil) can't be deployed because they are electrical items.


Change the shortname to something like "item_shortname": "box.wooden",
