Kits

Is there an option for starting with Kits instead of finding loot in the arena?

There is not. I don't plan on adding support for kits either.

 

You can run commands for each player when the gates open though, if you wanted to give items to players as the game starts.

Here is an example that gives each player a set of night vision goggles when the game begins.

 

    "Commands to run for each player when the game starts and the gates open. Use {id} in replacement of the players steam id": [
      "inventory.giveto {id} nightvisiongoggles"
