Installation Help

Closed 1.2.2

Just purchased the Add-On package and went to upgrade everything to the newest update and nothing is working now. I'm thinking that I'm not installing the plug-in correctly. Could someone let me know if the original WelcomePanel.json is supposed to be in the Oxide/Config folder, the WelcomePanel.cs file goes in the Oxide/Plugins folder,  and the Add-On package goes in the Oxide/Data/WelcomePanel folder?

Right now in the Oxide/Date/WelcomePanel there's CuiData.json, PageData.json, PlayerData.json, and a PresertData.json files. Do those stay there and the Add-In folders go in that same folder? Sorry, just a little confused. Appreciate the hlep.

Did you upgrade from the old version of WelcomePanel.cs? If so you will have to recreate your welcome panel again! I had to do this as there is a difference in the configuration file and will not work.

all you should need to do is delete the old config or save it to desktop then upload the new plugin in the plugin folder and then spend some time creating the WelcomePanel.json config file again. if you have your old config saved you can copy over some information saves you some time.

as for the addons you will have to do the following after you install the plugin in order for the addons to work.

How to add addons?
Each text tab has addon option at bottom, just type in plugin name.

Also in future always befor you update the plugin check what the update is! As David did mention this in bright orange lol.

"Plugin was completely rewritten including config, if you wish to update you have to delete your old config."

Thanks so much. I did the update, but then purchased the add-ons and everything stopped working so I assumed I totally messed everything up. I may just re-download everything with the new version and just start over.  😕
