Icons Forced Image

I was asked to submit this support request, in regards to my review;

The Icons on the menu have a forced color overlay, meaning I cannot put custom icons but only custom shapes. Every icon gets colored over, and there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it. Assuming this is something that can be changed, I would adjust my review to 5 stars as this is the only major flaw with the plugin.
