Have you tried to give yourself permission?
Default permission is

o.grant user YOURNAME admintoggle.master

So we got it to work but when the player does /admin it freezes them and they can't do anything

Are you running with the latest Oxide + server updates?

Yes. My server automatically updates.

I found a small fix I had turn on admin outfits and when I turn that off it worked. Also can u add it so when a player goes in adminmode that they name you choose shows up in chat and not the real name via user account? Atm its working ok I guess.

Please try to update to latest Oxide + Server version that solved it for me

Please try the latest version v3.1.5
And remember to use latest DLL file as this seems to have been fixed now
