How to get mouse to click on ui without having to go into inventory screen?

    I have the plugin to show the hud over all items.  But in order to click on anything on the hud,  I have to either be in my inventory or crafting menu in order to get cursor to work on hud.  Is there a key or button that needs to be pressed without having to be in the inventory or crafting screen?
