Question

Thank you for such a wonderful plugin! I have a couple of questions.

Is it possible to add integration with the following plugins?

For the upgrade stones/materials used in this plugin: https://codefling.com/plugins/custom-item-manager

So that upgraded items can be insured using this plugin: https://codefling.com/plugins/item-insurance

And one final question:

Are there any plans to add integration with: https://codefling.com/plugins/item-perks

Thank you in advance for your reply!

Hey, thanks a lot, glad you’re enjoying it!

Quick answers on each:

Custom Item Manager: Forge’s stones and materials are set in the config by a base shortname plus a skin ID, and CIM items are used by their shortname. So in theory you could point a material at a CIM item, but I haven’t tested that combo myself and don’t want to promise it works yet. I’ll give it a proper try and get back to you.

Item Insurance: Forge saves the upgrade info on the item itself. Whether an insured item comes back with its upgrades depends on how Item Insurance restores items, and I haven’t checked that. I’ll take a look, and if the upgrades get wiped I’ll see what can be done on my end.

Item Perks: No official integration right now. It’s on my list to look at. Both plugins store their own stuff on items, so I’d want to make sure they don’t step on each other before saying anything for sure.

I’ll update you here once I’ve tested these. Thanks for the ideas!
