Weird disappearing loot

So a regular player on my server reported that he used placery extended to place a small box on top of a vending machine and when he came back to it when he logged on again all his loot was gone from the box. He has no clan mates on a truepve server with it locked and sealed behind many keylock doors. He didnt want anything replaced so I trust his ticket. It might be a shot in the dark but the only variable I could think of causing this is using PlaceryExtended to place the small box. Maybe try some testing of this. It could be completely unrelated to your plugin but I thought I'd report it in case it happens to anyone else

The items that were placed inside of it were HeliSignals Plugin Supply Signals if that info matters.

Can you provide me the current config your using or maybe reach out to me on discord if it is 

im currently suspecting it to be because you allowed Deployables to stack on other deployables in the config placement section, and with PlaceryExtended originally it wasnt intended to be used for stacking deployables on other deployables so if this is the case the reason. Is it the Box Itself that have despawned or is it just the loot inside that have Despawned? i suspect also maybe that the LootContainer have not been correctly setup when placed on a deployable that it initializes as it should

Yeah your config dosnt allow PlaceryExtended to place deployables on the ToolCupboard

He placed the box on a Vending Machine not a tool cupboard

Neither should vending machine be allowed with the plugin, your Placement section for the plugin is the only valid surfaces the box can be placed on. 

do you have any other plugins that might allow something like this? did he place it with right click from PlaceryExtended or was it with left click

if its with Right Click i will deff look into this because it should not be possible with the current code

He placed it with right click and only the contents dissapeared. I have no other plugins similar to placery extended that allow such item placements except maybe "ObjectStacks" Plugin. But he only had one box placed. I'm guessing its possible there is a conflict between ObjectStacks and PlaceryExtended maybe? As boxes can also be stacked using ObjectStacks.

He said It was just one small box on top of vending machine. But maybe because both of these utilize right clicking to place items there could be a conflict?

Both plugins Utilizes the same Right click that is correct, but i think the culprit is Objectstacks because PlaceryExtended do not allow based on your current config to even validate a vendingmachine as a valid placement and if Placery says place isnt valid then the custom code to place the box down will not even run so im pretty sure the issue lies with ObjectStacks


I dont own Objectstacks but can you try on your server maybe Remove ObjectStacks permissions from yourself and then with Placery see if you can right click place a box on a vending machine? if you cant then try Remove Placery Perms from yourself and add the ObjectStacks perms to yourself and see if its getting placed or not?

if it dosnt get placed try have PlaceryExtended and ObjectStacks Perm Enabled on yourself and then try to place a box on the Vending, if this now happends then it sure is some kind of Conflict between theese 2
