Elevators are broken.

The elevators are broken. They do not work. 

These are the only dungeons I'm even using right now.

Need to find and fix, because I'm tried of it all.

Hey! I'll fix this. I need to figure out why this is happening to you. What exactly isn't working? Are the elevators not spawning or not responding to button presses? Is this a constant or intermittent issue? Have you updated the copypaste plugin?

The elevators spawn, however it's like no power is going to them. They don't respond to the call buttons. 

When the dungeons do spawn in the console it says, elevator.prefab missing

What version of the CopyPaste plugin are you using?

This isn't exactly the same error. We've encountered this when users were editing existing dungeons with elevators, or when creating new dungeons with elevators. If the elevator is placed incorrectly when copying, this error occurs. Are you using default dungeons?

Okay, anyway, after extensive testing of the plugin, I couldn't pinpoint the problem. I need to figure out what might be preventing elevators from spawning properly on your server. I'll need your help. Can we do this together in Discord?

as well as the custom dungeons in the file. guessing ill delete the custom dungeons as they seem to be broken

If you're experiencing serious issues with this plugin, please create a new ticket with a detailed description of the problem. Please include the dungeons you're having trouble with and your config file. I'll try to check and fix it

It's #dung#base2 - "Couldn't find prefab "assets/prefabs/deployable/elevator/elevatorioentity.prefab"

if you spawn this building using the /paste command, will you also get this error?

That's not quite what I meant. Try pasting the building using the chat command /paste #dung#base2

Will the dungeon spawn, and how will the elevator behave? Please make a short video if possible. Or would it be better if we did some testing together on Discord?

We've been having the same problems, I initially thought it was RustEdit, then it seemed to be the Facepunch update / Oxide 
It can be a common Rustedit bug if the versions are mismatched.

But using the latest versions of DungeonBases, and the latest patches to Rust,  ike Stark said, players are all having the same issues in all of the dungeon bases.
None of the designs are modified.

I'm logging into the server now to test with copy paste

So far all I know is manual pasting of a dungeon, the elevator works and nobody is kicked.

The manual commands are not working in this version, I had not tested them before
Example: "dungbase_start entrance1 dungeon1 -443.46 7.62 -1909.51"
Console: (17:28:25) | [Dungeon Bases] Manual spawn point set to {manualSpawn}
But nothing happens. 

dungbase_stop and dung_base start are not working after trying the above, its stops responding.

Default random / or timer spawns were working but players were kicked from the elevators.

  • The included base  - #dung#base1_n54sk.json the elevator does not fuction
  • The included base - #dung#base2_n54sk.json    causing an  elevator  kick when used  "RPC Error in Server_RaiseLowerFloor" 
  • The included entrance - #dung#entrance2_n54sk,json - the elevator does not function

    No other Dungeon entrances or bases that have elevators, cause the issue

Fruster was correct.
Fruster, it was a nice idea to include these custom bases, which look really cool but since it causes too many tickets and confusion maybe its better to remove them from the plugin?

Instead, I recommend including a direct link on your plugin page: 
For example "works with" Base XYZ by  n54sk or whoever, and leave the disclaimer on the main page.
That says, you are not resposible for those bases working correctly.

I think that might improve the situation, as most of us just want to copy what's included and let it function without testing every little detail.
So when the design is not working and you are not responsible for the extra design, then it makes this problem.
