I put correct path in the AutoWipeConfig.txt and it keeps defaulting to my_server_identity\cfg\server.cfg

You need to add +server.identity "rust"  in the AutoWipe.bat file.

Open AutoWipe.bat find RustDedicated.exe -batchmode ( at the end of the file)

there you can add any parameters you want like +server.identity "rust" .
