just a question about sam sites

the sam sites seem to have a big range even after changing the data profile and restarting the mod is there any way to reduse the sam site range

Range (350.0 = Rust default)

this controls the range of the sam sites. it can be found in the profiles, oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles/

if the sam site range is not applying then another plugin is overriding it

np. I think it is 75 meters by default. that is reasonable imo. you could lower it to 35-50 though. if it doesn't work then I'd like at other plugins to see what might be causing it. can be difficult since plugins have such a wide range of options =/

75 yea but it was nailing players from 2 squares away so needed to sort something lol when i got caught out when couldn't even see the base i did find a quick fix on umod  called sam site range and that seems to have fixed the issue at least for now lmao

well, maybe the sam site hook that I am using isn't working again. though I tried on two servers without issue

dont know about that kind of thing as i have no clue about coding i have included the mod that i got from umod as it is a free one so i should not get into trouble for sharing it as that works you might be able to compare with your hook (whatever that is ) lol if it helps you in any way

I did implement this into Raidable Bases, and I took over as maintainer for the SAMSiteRange plugin which I will update in the coming days/weeks when I have time to fully test it and stop forgetting to do so

at least it's implemented in RB though!
