Alpha loot

hello I'm trying to make this work with the alpha loot plugin. I have it set in alpha loot to spawn loot in with skins, but when players collect the loot it is default. how would I make this work?

also it works for me and i have the same settings as why im confused

These are the default settings for new players.
For those players who are already in the data, nothing will be changed.

oh i think i understand. so really its better to remove the option from the better loot and just let the players change the skins via the skin menu instead. i thought they would be able to pick up items with skins. not a big deal ill just remove that from the alpha loot. thanks for the help

but when the pick it up it reverts to default instead

I already answered that. You need to disable the feature that changes the skin on an item as soon as it's in the player's inventory.

There is also this parameter - "Do not reset item skin for which no skin is selected when it enters the inventory": false,
