My antivirus software detected the following after an update:

Quote

The file C:\...\MyRustServer\Updater.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.Zusy.538964 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean

Is anyone else seeing this?

Was going to download but was flagged by my browser as a malicious file.... Please let us know what is going on, as this is an awesome product to be using.

ah now I see it sorry, this is still the old Updater.exe

You can delete it.
I have removed it because there were many false positives.
False positives happen when a file like the Updater.exe downloads things, unpacks files and overwrites files. this is already recognized as a threat.

The new Auto Updater will be released as soon as I am sure that no relevant threats are detected.

This is the current status.

If all goes well it will be released with the next update.

You can
1. use a different browser
2. you can add an exception
3. download the MyRustServer.zip folder directly.

If 3. then you have to replace the following things
MyRustServer.exe
x64 folder
x86 folder
/MRS/GeoIP.mmdb
/MRS/Languages
