Hey there! I might try adding start and end event hooks if that's enough for compatibility with this plugin

I worked it out myself, but up to you if you wish to add it for other users.

Perhaps this will be useful to someone else and probably someday, when I have free time, I will add it. Thanks for the suggestion to improve the plugin
