Skins not loading

Why do the skins load so poorly? Do you check the latency of the skins from steam? I've wiped my skin folder, left default options for server end. The other premium skins box loads super fast.

rust loads the skins to client so depending on the download speed from steam workshop to there client.

Can you add some basic code to test the connection of the current skin being downloaded and exclude if its super slow?

there is no way to detect that as its client to steam workshop and not server.
