I don't know if this Plugin is still being looked into, I've been a supporter to the creator for years now, and always used this plugin. I keep getting this error message >>  https://prnt.sc/21r6exm  <<

And here's the screen shot of "2443,27"
>>  https://prnt.sc/21r6c6m  <<

I don't understand what's wrong here.

This addon was a huge motivation for me and my players to play rust in a peaceful way, so I would really love if someone could help me out.

Hi,
I'm sorry to say BotSpawn is no longer viable and has been replaced with a paid rewrite.
I had a rewrite in the works anyway for quite a while, and was planning to put a price on that in the new year and keep the original free,
then news came last week of major changes in Rust which would mean that BotSpawn.cs would pretty much need rewritten to work again too.

It's pretty bad timing. I posted some information at the top of the BotSpawn description.

This could have been fixed, but the breaking of BotSpawn is beautiful timing for someone who spent their entire time building up a community based around a FREE Plugin only to charge for it when he knew everyone needed it most.  When facepunch slapped us all in the face, he decided to join them instead.  If you want it fixed, buy the $40fix like the rest of us. Thats all there is to it.

WOW! Steen has been hooking us up, busting his ass writing killer plugins! HOW TF can he even do it for free? It takes hella time, with many all nighters WTF?

Just cuz you said this, I'm buying the plugin right now.

It's facepunch that always fucks shit over anyways. Plugin developers that do it for free end up losing interest when it's just a hobby. Then the plugins die when rust screws us over like up to 12 times a year, lol.

I'm not going to argue against anyone's opinion - You are all entitled and I completely see where those not happy are coming from,
but I do want to make it clear BotReSpawn isn't a fix or a patch
It's a ground up rewrite using a modded version of a totally different AI, and native spawngroups instead of some very old house-of-cards code.

It did suffer from being rushed, (described in plugin description) in order to be live in time for wipe, but, for the longer term, it is a much better foundation than BotSpawn.cs was.

Thank you for comments, on both sides.

I've been hosting a server for a group of people who are not so fond of PvP, and we've been using BotSpawn ever since it was made (4 years ago) and it made our small community really happy because we got to play the game in our own way and pace. We're not going to pay a 40$ plugin that's not even working nearly as good as it's previous version. I honestly respect and appreciate Steen for making it free as long as it was. I guess it's time to find an alternative...

Hey, I can understand your position.
There have been teething issues, for sure, mostly due to rushing to meet the wipe date,
but broadly speaking it is working well.

Regardless - I understand where you're coming from.
I think there's still a live giveaway in Codefling discord - Ends on 7th. you just have to react to it in discord to enter.

Well sucks that we're now FORCED to BUY BotReSpawn at such a steep cost. I understand the work behind it, I do. But a person of myself in sales, customer service, and now IT Security understand that if you were to bring it down a little, like $25, you'd probably make more money with more people that could afford that. It's not always about HOW much you can make in each sale, but HOW many sales you make with a lower cost. Just something to think about.

I guess we'll be moving on to something else for now since BotSpawn no longer works. $40 is too much after everything else I've been purchasing for our community server. Keep up the good work, maybe I'll check it out again if it's ever up for sale.

I ran my own personal server for my me and my wifeI (no hosting provider). I paid 1- or 15 (IRCC) when Steenamaroo was doing it for free and the changes from oxide > Umod and changes in Umod's agreement.

If I had a paying community, I'd pay for the plugin.

If you have a community, you COULD ask people to chip in if they really like the plugin and chip in yourself. The worst that can happen if they say NO. Or some say yes, reducing YOUR costs. Otherwise you can look around and see what's there.

I had taken a break shortly after that happened and just got back into Rust.
There are a few others I'd like to have but not sure how long I'll be back in the game.

BTW, Thahnks Steenamaroo for providing it as long as you could.
