  1. can confirm same. Am running carbon (if it matters).
Neat free plugin to engage the players.

Neat! Would be nice to have it print out the winners name in chat and what they won.. and maybe confirm the players entry as well.

    option to use scrap?

I'm not using a "store" or rewards (yet). Possible to have it use scrap vs rewards if Use Economics & Use ServerRewards are set to false?
  4. lol; it seems to! After all the updates are said and done, it does seem to be working. Still gives that red scripting error when it loads, but seems to be checking and posting to discord -- I'll call it a win!

No worries at all!! I posted about it in their discord - maybe the devs will take a peek and shed some light. Maybe I'll switch to Oxide

ahh well! I would tend to agree then!! Famous last words; if it works with Oxide it should work with Carbon -- but you know how that goes!! Thx for responding so quickly!
  7. Interesting error : The plugin, with a blank config file, load fine - no errors. The next time the plugin runs -- after it's created its config file -- I get this error in the console : (22:41:48) | Unloaded plugin UpdateChecker v4.1.1 by tofurahie (22:41:48) | Failed loading script; (Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at void Carbon.Managers.ScriptLoader.Load() and because of that; whatever "script" it is running, doesn't finish -- so it never sets numbers of players back to the configured number. Slightly problematic!! but -- weird thing is, if I then load the plugin manually, it loads fine and spits this out : (22:48:40) | Loaded plugin UpdateChecker v4.1.1 by tofurahie [274ms] (22:48:40) | Command 'ucsetup' already exists. (22:48:40) | Command 'uctest' already exists. (22:48:40) | Duplicate permission registered 'updatechecker.setup' (by plugin 'UpdateChecker') (22:48:41) | All plugins have been loaded. Changing maximum players back to 35. (22:48:50) | [UpdateChecker]

So, I get this in the console when I try and open the GUI. It then disconnects the user. I've tried with two different player accounts, one is an admin level account. Haven't messed with the config at all either. I am using Carbon (not oxide) RPC Error in AddUI: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at JSON.Object.GetString (System.String key, System.String strDEFAULT) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at CommunityEntity.CreateComponents (UnityEngine.GameObject go, JSON.Object obj, System.Boolean allowUpdate) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at CommunityEntity.AddUI (BaseEntity+RPCMessage msg) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at CommunityEntity.OnRpcMessage (BasePlayer player, System.UInt32 rpc, Network.Message msg) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at BaseEntity.CL_RPCMessage (System.UInt32 nameID, System.UInt64 sourceConnection, Network.Message message) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at Client.OnRPCMessage (Network.Message packet) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at Client.OnNetworkMessage (Network.Message packet) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at Facepunch.Network.Raknet.Client.ProcessRead (Network.NetRead read) [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at Network.BaseNetwork.Cycle () [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0 at Client.Update () [0x00000] in <00000000000000000000000000000000>:0
