I can't recommend him enough, as i purchased a map from him many years ago he still updates it free of charge if i find something wrong with it today..

Cheap, fast good, communication.

I have had 3 maps commissioned By RobJ and I can see he is on the very top tier of map making community out there. I know a TON of map makers, as the interest in making maps brought me to look for his services, and as many hours as I have now in map making since 2019, it makes me appreciate his work that much more. 

I did a couple with my very specific concepts of monuments, and shapes of land done from my mind and had a very specific vision that I needed manifest, but did not posses the skills to do. This was a multi Island Map with 8 or 9 big islands on a 6k map, and about 20 or so smaller ones. Then I had commissioned one map I just asked him to make the shape of the land (Greenland and Iceland with Eastern Canada)  then gave him creative reign over what monuments to make, and how to allow the flow up to him. When I asked him to just free-style the map, it was because I trusted his creative flow from the last two he had done such a great job on. In both circumstances he came through with amazing maps, in a creative, and timely manor. 

His custom pre-fab work is flawless with working doors, card puzzles that are hard, but not so hard, you can't do them, and the amount of details into them are crazy good. He also keeps the prefab count as low as he can as to run better performance on the server. He did these all over 3 years ago, and from all of his maps and pre-fabs I have seen him do since, he is even better now than he was back then, and that fact alone is astonishing.  He communicates well, and if you need changes done, he does them fast and gets it where you want it as a customer. His timelines are reasonable, and if he can start a project on his estimated timeline, he works well at letting you know if there are any delays. He gets them done fast too. Again, I know how to make maps now, and the speed he does these at are really amazing. Especially from scrap to a finished product.  

All in all I would give him 6 of 5 stars if possible, and if I ever come into a spot I can't fix or make a map I need, he will be called for again for his services. I am not a huge name in Rust, but I know so many people who are doing maps, and server owners, and hundreds of players in this community, so for me to review this persons work, and speak so highly of it, speaks well to his skills if you know me personally. 

 

 

I started being an admin on my server some years ago, and I came across RobJs Maps. The first map I used was the New World Map. It was an amazing map. We started to use all RobJs Maps. The monuments were outstanding work, and with the top support, whenever I asked about something, he was on it fast with his Discord showing updates on each map, even the old maps. He still keeps them updated. He did a lot of cutom work for me as I needed some custom monuments added to the maps and edited the NPCs with the monuments, and he was happy to help out. All I can say is thank you, Rob. Keep up the great work, mate.
