There will be no difference in performance for you. It seems to me that the problem is in some other plugin that interacts with turrets. The problem is that the turret target hook is called very often and for every NPC in the turret area. If some other plugin uses these hooks incorrectly, then this may be causing your problem. I think this is the case. -

There is a decrease in FPS, and it is associated with a large number of NPCs. I do not recommend using the nightmarish preset, so its automatic execution is disabled by default -
