Did you upload the plugin from zipfile to your plugins folder?

Works with both as long as you have where to upload the plugin

i keep getting an error on server start up and it automatically shuts down, im using drop box to place the map

yes i did, i saved it to my desktop and download to dropbox and i get the error message

Could be your dropbox the issue as i have no other reports 

I manage to get Crane Island to work, but it show some very strange graphics effect on all lakes. Water disappears just a few inches above surface and the comes back at distant viewing (few 100s of feet). Image show the biggest lake.

That's unfortunately a rendering bug from game itself not related to the map as i cannot modify rendering of procedural lakes
