Refund

Hello i want a refund from the Map Blue Tears. The Creator knows about the River that Sticks out on multiple Spots i showed on Screens. He "Fixed" 1 of the Spots by Cover it with Rocks which does not Fix the Problem itself. The complete River from that upper Spot on is buggy and looks just Bad, to be honest that thing needs a Rebuild to make it right. Anyway iam not satisfied with what i became for a 30 Dollar Map. I will not use this Map.

Hi, i talked about the Situation with the Creator, ill try to link it. he knows the Problem, to be fair also tryed to overlapp the River Surface, but that is only a cheap and fast Solution in my Option. That River is under the Rocks broken itself. He also Said that he will overlap some other Spots but cant do anything about more. Which is in his Optionen maybe enough but for me Not. Lemme try link the conversation.

We'll need an actual support request from you first. Also, to be fair to the author there what they're saying is 100% true. Rivers are indeed bugged in RustEdit and have been for a long time now.

I know but in my Option this part of the map needs some sort of rebuild,  Not trying to be Rude in any way, i try to be fair in any way and understand some things are messed up tru Rock Updates etc. But i would not Sell a map for that Price with this lets say Optic bug. If i had known this before but the map , i would have not bought it.

The author mentioned they would fill in these holes with rocks. If you're concerned with how they approach this you're free to leave a review.

Ye i know overlaping it with Rocks, it would Not be search a Problem of thats a tiny Spot, but from the Top Spot i can Show the whole Waterpath down to the Ocean is messed up in many Areas, its like you have a flat tire on your Car and you try to fix that in a Cheap Solution, but Need a new Tire any Time cuz its damaged. I wait abit and See what he do with it but i want buy anything from this creator in the Future, the River itself is messed up and needs a rebuild before charge Money on it.

You could also request a refund with the author directly. At this point they'd be the only one who could authorize one. We can only step in if it's against SLA or covered under warranty. Since they responded to you very quickly with a proposed solution there's no way for us to issue the refund on our end without the authors approval.

Will try that, lets See what response i become from the Creator, if he is honest enough to give me my Money back i respect that. If he care less i will give this my honest Review. In the meantime i try myself fix this on Rustedit in a way i would be satisfied with it. Thanks anyway , lets see what he response.

Hello. All screenshots are made from textures and all these places are covered with stones, players do not get there and this does not interfere with the gameplay. The only area of the tree is still open, and I'll fix it tonight. It also does not interfere with the gameplay. I have already explained the fact that rivers have been behaving this way lately, and the only solution is to remove the rivers completely.

Its Not only the left side from the tree, Right side it sticks out aswell somewhere on the ground far away from the River. Also the pathway itself Sticks out on the corners when you run on the side you find it. Now i start getting angry, it does Not matter if it no interfere the gameplay. Its buggy and is getting loaded like everything Else. Patching it up to Cover the mess is Not cool and charge 30$ for it. Dont care if this is a regular Thing. Also i managed with almost 0 expiriens yesterday to solve it myself without „Cover“ it. Anyway i want a redund, i would have Never bought it in this State, the Performance is also Not the best, less Fps and Lots of almost emty trarain Spots. Overall iam Not happy with that whole Situation. Please respect that and accept the refund.

I just want to explain to you that there is not one crooked river there - this area consists of two rivers, and where the stones block the river, it closes the end of the river, and it always widens and flows into the ocean (but not in our case), therefore, there are stones here. Because of this, there will be no FPS drawdown.

I've talked to many good map developers, and they all tell me that it's not a problem to cover rivers with stone in places where they lose a little texture. when loading, it does not affect fps, etc.

Moreover, I wrote to you that I can remove the river from there if it is critical for you. And just put a lake there.

I believe you that, in the Video you Show Spots which are Fine by me, Problem the Texture which is crossing There to the left and Right far inside the corners and Stick out on different Places because its very big under the Rocks. I wish i can explain better or Show you maybe on that Server what i mean. For that River i saw its 2 Parts of putting notes together, as i said its new to me, anyway to solve this crossing Spot i did 2 things: First i rebuilded the River from the small Wood bright up to the Endspot where this weird crossing aperears. That almost fixed it. Then i changed the random scale Setting from that Part. Now there is no weird Crossing for me to See at the endspot. I cant test the result on my Server anymore cuz my Players are back at it playing. Is it possible to send you my edited file or Talk this on the Server so i can Show what i mean?

They File, but keep in mind i did not saw the result on the live server, but on edit its fixed. I changed also abit the river down to the ocean, with luck there should be also nothing stick out. For the Top spot i guess it needs the rock formation to fill the hole, but maybe not lets see.

Alright so far so good, so this spot needs ajustment, but as far i see there is no crossing anywhere showing?

So if its only that spot it should be easy to fix by attaching the 1 note from that river to the ground, atleast this weird crossing on top is gone in my option

Anyways.. for me the Problem is solve pretty much now, i will use the map for me as learning to use Rustedit. Again i didnt wanted to be Rude or smth , i like things to be as good as possible and the Creator was responsiv to Help me out in short time. Forget about the Refund - i wish you both a great Weekend and maybe see you next time  greetings DaNe
