So once again I have had a wave of the brain.

If it's even possible, I know not. I would like to see the following plugin for sale though : 

The plugin would need to allow a player to set down a skinned mine. That mine would then need to wander around. The mine would basically wander in a random direction along the ground, looking like a Roomba. When a player, vehicle or NPC runs across it, it needs to go off, as per this supporting meme:
