So i use this plugin and i was wondering if it could be causing the player locations not to work

Yeah it could cause that. It uses the same hooks as WCP. And it is loaded before WCP (plugins are loaded in alphabetical order).

Note that some hosting provider's firewall can block access to/from the API.
