Throwing Errors in console

Closed 1.2.0

Hi I'm self-hosting using Pterodactyl, the bot is running and it's sync the roles/groups but whenever some one types in chat it will throw this error

container@pterodactyl~ Server marked as running...
TypeError: messageContent.includes is not a function
    at Client.<anonymous> (/home/container/src/main/establishConnection.js:496:35)
    at Client.emit (node:events:513:28)
    at WebSocket.onMessage (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/src/client/websocket/ws.js:55:15)
    at WebSocket.onMessage (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/node_modules/ws/lib/event-target.js:120:16)
    at WebSocket.emit (node:events:513:28)
    at Receiver.receiverOnMessage (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/node_modules/ws/lib/websocket.js:789:20)
    at Receiver.emit (node:events:513:28)
    at Receiver.dataMessage (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/node_modules/ws/lib/receiver.js:422:14)
    at Receiver.getData (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/node_modules/ws/lib/receiver.js:352:17)
    at Receiver.startLoop (/home/container/node_modules/rustrcon/node_modules/ws/lib/receiver.js:138:22)

I've followed the instructions to the letter giving the right permissions and such. But i can also see that it says the reference isn't a function, so it kinda doesn't matter how installed and got the bot running.

Also i downloaded the latest version 1.2.0 but looking in the script it says 1.0.4 and Update Checker complains that we aren't running the latest since codefling reports 1.2.0

You can ignore that messages that you’re getting. It’s because the bot is receiving blank messages from your chat. I won’t hurt any of the functions of the bot. However, I will make that error even happening in the next update.

what’s unfortunate is we use different version numbers for the plug-in and the bot. I suppose I will have to match them

btw the permission DiscordLink.Admin isn't described anywhere what it actually does. in regards to commands, could this also be documented?

That permission does not do anything as of now. It was used for importing steamcord links before that functionality was transferred onto the bots side
