Spam

Hello I wanted to know if this was normal because since I loaded better npc I have this console spam otherwise the plugin works great but know how problematic is spam thanks in advance

in addition I just installed the plugin I did not add anything else said that the plugin to load the spam console was direct

If you check console @Weeds38 you should see more details like the location of the NPC having that issue. Sometimes it is simply more of a map issue than anything else and there are a few plugins that will help to nullify and rectify issues that lead to that console spam. It's an NPC that is in a bad spot though for one reason or another. If you can see console to see more specifics you can get the location and then backtrack to find out which NPC is throwing the error and we can move them or remove them for this wipe or permanently if need be. Generally this should not be an issue though so it is likely just one NPC that's in a place that this map doesn't like if I had to guess.

How is your server hosted @Weeds38 do you have a server console that you can access? Not RCON connected console but actual console for the server itself. RCON might work but is usually less detailed.

I'm on a dedicated server so I have access to the real console of the server @Jbird

Perfect @Weeds38, when reviewing do you see more information than in the screenshot above? If not do you have logs being created and can we review those for more information?

@JbirdI don't have more info than on the capture that its silk in the logs ect for its the its becomes urgent but the logs its full of spam

it does not work it pairs but the errors are still there I tried nav mesh error and consolespam

I don't understand what is happening because I can't find out that npc is causing this error

Do you have anything in the Custom folder?
Is it from a previous map and still enabled?

Hello @Jbird sorry for my late answer here is what is present in the betternpc folder in the DATA and the map and a non modder classic map

No worries @Weeds38 folders look okay. Perhaps it is simply something to do with the map.

Do you have log files being created? Can you check those or did we already look there for more detailed information? I think you mentioned it but it will be best if we can at least figure out the location of the one(s) having issues.

Otherwise you may need to ignore it or you may need to disable one file at a time and reload until the errors stop and we would know which group its in and could narrow down from there.

 

know what I'm thinking of activating file by file to try to find the problem because no more info on this error in my logs I'll come back to you when I've finished the tests to let you know @Jbird

Sorry you have to even do all that @Weeds38 but it's better than banging your head against the wall right?

If you need my help once you find the file with an issue just let me know.

Don't worry @Jbird, you're already guiding me on the research to be done because I don't know the plugin very well and it's all recent for me.

I have a question
but  example if the stone quarry and not present on the map the plugin will still try to load it?(data/BetterNpc/monuments/StoneQuarry.json}

It will load the file, but if the monument is there then nothing will happen. The same will happen with disabled files. They will load, and then nothing happens because they are disabled, but the file must still be read and loaded @Weeds38.
