You did not tell how to get flares outside of giveflare skinid and steamid, but how am i am supposed to give myself the flares? i typed your giveflare skinid and steamid like u stated in the console and it gave me a flare that had skin on it but nothing happened when trying to use it, also when I got a easy flare out of crate it said I couldn't do defendable home due to location and the player wasn't near a monument, I had to move his base off to a island out in the middle of nowhere to get the defendable home to work.

Actually the description has a paragraph that explains how to get flares in detail.

Give yourself a flare by using your SteamID, and it needs to be one of the SkinIDs from the plugin. If you can give more feedback on it not working when given otherwise with detail then we can look into it further.

Was the player throwing the flare on their own base? I would need quite a few more details to troubleshoot that issue but perhaps the one throwing the flare wasn't the owner, or when you copied and pasted it if you were still the one throwing it then perhaps it worked because you became the owner when you 'moved' the base. But otherwise if those instances are not the case just give as much detail as you can and we can sort it out.

I did read the description and as I said I found flares in boxes but it wasn't working when I used the skin id from the plugin to give myself the flare and yes I did use my steam id, it gave me a flare that was skinned but nothing happened when I tried to use it. also I couldn't find the skin ID for the easy flare. i found medium and hard skin ID in the config file under the rewards but nothing stated easy.

when we were at his base and he threw the flare it stated [DefendableHomes] You cant start event at the current location because location of the base does not allow it. this has happened on quiet a few spots on the map, we weren't near roads or any monuments, current map is new dawn from gruber.  I copied his base for him on a island far away from anything had him authorize on tc and he threw the flare and it allowed him to do the event. but that was a flare I got out of crate.

Another issue I have found today is the turrets do not shoot at all at the zombies. i literally placed a bases just to try out all the flares and the turrets looked right at them and didn't fire a single round. I didn't have any issues with turrets killing npcraiders plugin so I am not sure why this one wont target or shoot them.

You said that we did not tell how to get flares, and I said that there is a paragraph that explains how to get them. I was responding to your claim and I did not say that you did not read the description. Then as you just said there is also the command. We can and will do some more testing in this regard as well as asking the developer if he'd like to add those Steam Skin IDs anywhere more accessible like perhaps the description.

We have had a little bit of feedback of people getting the location error, generally we have an idea of what might be happening and I don't think it has anything to do with roads or monuments, those would be more of an issue for building the base to begin with. I think if anything it may be regarding terrain or placement of the build. Will look more into this and the more detail we can get about locations and bases that are getting this error the better we can find solutions.

Do you have TruePVE or any similar plugins that dictate damage on the server? Regarding the turrets that sounds like what might be stopping it but unfortunately need more information there as well.

Thank you for the feedback, and we appreciate any extra detail you can offer as well. Otherwise we will be continuing to look into it from our end as well.

I do have true pve from umod i can send u my config file and maybe yall can see if there is something in the config that's causing it to not work?

Yes that's fine, either here or in a ticket in the Mad Mapper Discord server.

Might be a bit till I can check it but will try to keep an eye out.

yeah now i cant do it anywhere on map gives me the same thing about not being able to do it at base location even though im in same spot from yesterday

You said you're at the same spot but you've tried it other places on the map too? Just confirming, it's just the way that it was worded that's throwing me off a bit and want to clarify.

Are you building any of the bases or are you copy pasting all of them? Can you ensure that none of the buildings are ending up under the terrain and that they are basic builds that you would be able to create with a building plan?

Try this config in regards to the turret.

I've tried it in a few spots both copying a bases and building a base still gives me the can not do defendable bases, but i will make sure its not going under terrain and get back to u

ok so i built a few little bases around different areas and it let me do the event, so i guess copy bases are the issue like u said , but turrets and shotgun traps still dont work

Updating coming soon to address some of the issues.

Turret issue still need some more information on, anything you can think of or find let us know.

what info u need ill be happy to try and help figure it out? I do have IQ turret plugin and powerless electronics, maybe I can try to hook it up to actual power and try that?

That is actually work checking absolutely. Would be interesting but I try anything because there have been some odd fixes in the past that you wouldn't have thought of without asking these types of questions.

The update will be revealing and might potentially fix some issues right away. We appreciate the feedback, any detailed information helps to resolve issues that much faster.

so I made a base to test out if the turrets need to be hooked up and now no zombies are spawning using flare, it says event started but no zombies and also is there a way u can make it so the players can end event at their base as the /def command don't work for players, it only works for me...or maybe put a timer to stop event after its done. cuz i dont know what players are doing the event and seems like if the event cant stop it might cause issues.

ok zombies spawned after I reloaded plugins but turrets hooked to power don't work either

maybe its a conflict with true pve plugin?

As far as the event continuing, they will go until they've raided the base and then it would stop, that is the worst case. I don't think generally it would be desired to allow players to just cancel the event, it defeats the purpose in some ways if you ask me. But there might be ways to set that up through other plugins you might have. Just a thought.

As far as TruePVE yes I looked again and you have TurretsIgnoreScientist flag set. You need to remove that or make some more rules, but that is actually why. Apologies that I didn't catch it sooner.

I removed the flag that is necessary from the most recent version I had sent you. Try that and you should be good to go.
