interfering with plugins

Gremlins 5.0.1 6.0.0

Hello! It seems the posts in here were edited before I could see what they were. Are you still having any issues we can help with?

I went through the server log you posted, and it seems this issue isn't related to our tools package. There are a number of general issues in there, for example Image Library is required for some plugins to run but isn't loaded/installed, and there are potentially some config errors as well.

I would recommend the following:

- Make sure you go through the log yourself carefully to see what you're missing
- Download any plugin dependencies that your plugins have, Image Library being a big one: https://umod.org/plugins/image-library
- Delete existing configs of plugins that aren't working
- Download the newest versions of all plugins you're using, and let them generate fresh configs
- If still in doubt, or you would just like to verify whether or not the IMR Tools Package has anything to do with this, before you do any of the other steps you can remove the IMR Tools Package from your server by simply deleting these files from your Managed folder: Oxide.TactiPluginCompiler.dll, Oxide.TactiToolsCoreExtInterface.dll, TactiToolsCore.dll

Please let me know how it goes and we will do everything we can to provide support related to the IMR Tools Package, but just keep in mind if this is a general plugin configuration issue there's only so much we can do

Thank you for the follow up!

To be clear, the only change you made was removing those 3 .dll files?

If so, may I ask what type of server hosting are you using? Do you have direct access to the Managed folder?

Just now, goontrash said:

i deleted all the dll files you put in the zip folder, also i do

Is this the only change you made between the first server log paste and the second?

Not sure I follow the exact timeline here of those server logs, so just to be clear and in order for us to determine 100% if the tools package is interfering with anything or not (it shouldn't be) I'd need you to do this:

- Turn the server off

- Make no other changes other than unzipping all our .dll files into your Managed folder

- Start the server, wait for it to fully boot, send me the log file

- Turn the server off again

- Make no other changes other than deleting our .dll files from your managed folder

- Start the server, wait for it to fully boot, and send me that log file

- This way I can directly compare the two

Also one question: what operating system are you running your server on?

running on linux

Ohh ok that might actually have something to do with it. The IMR Tools Package is currently only optimized for Windows, as we haven't done extensive testing yet for Linux. I'll need to confer with my development partner then about this, he will be available in about 6 hours (currently sleeping)

From what we've seen most servers are running Windows; you're definitely right though that we should put a disclaimer until we can confirm we've optimized it for Linux as well, we'll be doing that very shortly.

I'll keep you updated as soon as I discuss with my development partner regarding the Linux optimization. If necessary we can do a Discord stream to get to the bottom of any issues.

Thank you for your patience on this, we'll be actively investigating the Linux compatibility. Will be in touch shortly.

Hey development partner is awake!

Your idea regarding taking this in a discord call, perhaps? Sounds like a good idea if you are still willing to do that.

Support Request Update:

No response from Goontrash yet.

In Goontrash's logs it seems our compiler is compiling stuff as it is suppose to so it may not be related Linux.

Goontrash, you are of course still welcome to dm me on discord Tacti Tac0z#1374 or continue this conversation here if you are still having issues.
Also, Goontrash, logs are appreciated but for your own privacy safety, I recommend dm'ing developers with logs next time since these support request are public.
