Hi,
I doubt you've done anything wrong. I've had two or three people report this over the last while but, so far, I've been unable to replicate it.
How far away are we talking, roughly?

Thanks for reporting. I really want to get to the bottom of this one.

They are allowed to leave their area when pursuing a target and, as long as they remain aggressive to their target, they can follow any distance at all...right across the map if it goes that way,
but once their target is dead or lost the npc should begin returning home.

In your case is it one npc or many?
Was the npc (npcs) casually roaming their new area, or were they aggressive to someone or walking in the direction of where they should be?

I tested yeterday baiting an npc across about 8 map grids, keeping him aggressive to me the whole way.
When I flew up out of his aggro range and waited for about 20 seconds he gave up and immediately walked home.
It took him about 5 minutes, but eventually he got right back to his original spawn point.

Ok. I'll dig deeper, because that's two or three people now with the same issue.
The others said it was just one profile, rather than all profiles, so I guess that's something to go on.

Which profile, or profiles, have the issue on your server?

1 hour ago, BeePssY said:

you want my config file to test if theres an error there?

Thanks for that. It's definitely an issue at my end, though.

Just trying to gather as much info about it as possible in the hope that I can recreate the issue.
If I can recreate it, I can fix it. 🙂

Ok. Maybe I can find a pattern and get to the bottom of it soon.
No, I haven't been able to recreate the issue yet, but I'll be trying to...

Thanks for the info!

Hey i have the same issue. Few versions ago this doesn't happen.

With regular NPCs i don't care if they roam far away (and they do) But i use the plugin to have very strong boss at LS and it causing some troubles because he is traveling across the map and bullying innocent players 😄

Edit: i think they did pursue players from their location, but they came back after they lost aggro. It's like they brake free from their locations after they cover a sufficient distance from their area.

I know you are already dealing with it, i just wanted to provide you some material if it helps 😉

Hi @Schellby
Thank you for the info. That really is appreciated.
This is bugging me, and I really want to get to the bottom of it, but I'm still unable to replicate it.

With so few cases/reports, I guess there must be some common factor that I'm not taking into account.

If you're able to replicate this reliably with a specific npc/profile, would you be willing to have a back and forth with me and maybe test some copies with debug,
so I can try to gather some clues?

Problem is i am not that skilled in code or so. So if you just explain me what to do, i will help you as much as i can.

For example: i don't know what debug is and how to use it 😄

@BeePssY- Are you still having this issue?
If so, would you mind sending me a text list of all your loaded plugins, please?

I've had no luck replicating this so far so I want to compare loaded plugins of the few users who are seeing the issue,
and see if I can rule out those which are common.

Thank you.
I think I have only two people with this issue right now but I'll document and compare both lists and see if I can come up with anything.
Sorry I haven't been able to solve this much more quickly, and thanks for the info and understanding!
