Wallpapper tool

Hi Ninco, I'm trying to paint the exterior of the base using the wallpaper tool, but it won't let me; it says it only works on interiors. I have the following enabled in the config:

Hi! It won't let you do it manually, only automatically from the TC on both sides, if that's what you mean.

Yes, im testing using wallpappertool insted tc button and i can paint only inside base, even if activate both sides button into tc. and some floors and cellings inside base, detects is outside.

Correct, those options don't apply to manual mode. You can set it manually, but it works just like in vanilla. I haven't changed anything to bypass the manual limits.

then why is this parametr if is not working?

This only applies to automatic placement—the long-standing feature that automatically places wallpapers one by one.

It does not affect manual placement by the player.

Will you be making improvements to the plugin so that the wall-painting tool has the same functions and capabilities as the option accessed via the TC button? The best part of that feature is being able to choose between using the tool and the cupboard; having to use both seems tedious and unnecessary.

In principle, I have no plans to add it; otherwise, I would have done so when implementing this feature.

This is due to the complexity involved: there is a difference between the system forcibly setting the wallpaper and having the game recognize that you are setting it externally while the client itself is blocking it. It is more complex, and adding it would likely require hooks that could potentially impact performance in some way.
