cant place quarry

how can i place a quarry? they dont seem to snap to a crater (that spawns from throwing survey charge)

Yo so heres how it works. Craft the Mining Quarry item, equip it in your hotbar, then youll see a ghost preview when you hold right click or use it. Find a flat enough spot on terrain (not rocks, not foundations) and left click to place. No crater, no snapping needed.

If the preview is red it means the spot isnt valid, just move around a bit until its green and place it there.

ill keep trying. have yet to see anything but the red preview and im in a pretty flat space in the arid

the pumpjacks do snap to the craters for some reason. havent tried turning them on yet but just an observation
